OUR PROCESS

Building compliance issues are often complex and difficult to understand.

Our approach to delivering Compliance Assessment Reports is simple.

The purpose of a Compliance Assessment Report is to identify relevant Accessibility and National
Construction Code (Building Code of Australia) non-compliant items, assess their risk and provide
probable high- level rectification costs.

We specialise in identifying, understanding and interpreting the relevant compliance issues for your building.

We have developed the RACE System to assess your building or portfolio of buildings.

The R A C E System has 3 steps.

The first step is the project initiation meeting where we meet with you to discuss your needs. At this meeting, we discuss the following:

What are the risks that we need to identify and how will they be reported?

What parts of the building and surrounds need to be assessed for accessibility?

What are the relevant building codes | legislation that will be used to assess the building?

What type of information is to be provided to you and in what format does it need to be?

The second step is the site assessment where we visit the site and collect the information, we require to prepare the compliance assessment report.

Step 2 - Site Assessment

Evidence gathering

We assess any risks on the site, around the building, outside and inside the building.

We assess the access on the site, which starts at the car park & ends inside the building.

We assess the relevant building codes against the actual building components on site.

We take photographs, record notes and measurements and collate this information.

The third step is the compliance assessment report where we collate the evidence gathered from the site assessment and use it to prepare the documentation.

Step 3 - Compliance Assessment Report

Evidence

We identify the risks for the site and building and allocate each item with a risk rating.

We identify any non-compliances and provide details on rectification works

We provide high level indicative costs for req. rectification works for budgeting purposes.

We show exactly where the non-compliance issue is located using notes and photographs

We can help you understand what the compliance issues are with your building or portfolio of buildings. We give you clarity. We give you the answers.
